Rafting and kayak in Evinos river

Evinos, one of the most well-known rivers of Aetolia-Acarnania, is ideal for athletic activities and particularly popular with those that were interested in canoe-kayak and rafting. Many associations are active in the area and organize excursions from all over Greece.

At Chani Bania, 16 kilometers from Nafpaktos, near the impressive metal bridge of the river, they have created modern facilities, which are considered among the best of Greece and have developed into an international training centre of canoe-kayak. From here start the route for descending the river, at the enchanting natural environment with the dense vegetation and the beautiful ravines.
