Walking at the Park of Pafsilipo and the Grove of a Thousand Trees

Two green areas are in the city of Karditsa and are suitable for strolling or a bicycle. The first one, the large Pafsilipo Park, next to the Metropolitan Church of Agioi Konstantinos and Eleni, is the favorite meeting spot, where they organize cultural events, while opposite from it is the “City Museum”.

The second one, three kilometres away, towards Lake Plastiras, is the Grove of a Thousand Trees or Paparantzas, where under the shadow of age long trees the people of the city have rested and relaxed since the foundation of the city, in the 17th century. At the area is the Water Museum of Karditsa at the Pump Room Paparantzas.
