A trip in the village of Psarades
The only Greek village on the banks of Megali Prespa, the picturesque Psarades, is the northeastern edge of Greece. it is a traditional settlement with houses built with stones and bricks, characteristic examples of Macedonia, and a remarkable church of the 19th century, dedicated to the Dormition of Virgin Mary.
Its residents, as indicated by its name, work as fishermen but also cattle-breeding, agriculture and tourism. From Psarades one can explore Megali Prespa with a boat or follow the path that leads the peninsula Roti with the famous rock paintings.
