Naoussa

On the northern coasts of Paros lies the traditional fishing village of Naoussa, which in spite of its tourist development and the consequential building activity still maintains, almost intact, its Cycladic picturesqueness. Known for its intense nightlife, but also for its beautiful beaches, it is certainly a seaside village of Paros that is worth visiting.

In the same area you can visit the folklore museum of Naoussa, the interesting Early Cycladic Cemetery, as well as the impressive, half-sunken Venetian castle on the northern side of the port. Also interesting are the monasteries and churches that are located in the wider area, such as Ai-Yannis Detis, the Longovarda Monastery and the medieval church of Agios Georgios etc.
