Delion of Paros

The archaeological site of the Delion sanctuary of Apollo is another site that one should visit when in Paros. The temple is built on a hill and neighbors with a smaller one, which was dedicated to Apollo's sister, Artemis. To visit the two temples, as well as the remains of the cemetery from the Cycladic Period that was discovered in the area, one must walk a narrow, uphill path, surrounded by dry stone walls. In any case, the visitors will find the effort rewarding not just due the beauty of the ancient ruins, but also due to the panoramic view to the Aegean Sea.
