Velouchi Ski Resort

At the passage that connects the mountains of Sterea Ellada with Pindos, at an altitude of 1,840 meters, just 10 kilometers from Karpenisi, is the famous ski resort of Velouchi. It is one of the most beautiful and modern in Greece, with eighteen tracks of high specifications, divided into color zones depending on the degree of difficulty, and four free routes for the most experienced and bold, while it also has a ski training school.

The area is beautiful, among dense forests of fir trees and plenty running waters, and it is worth visiting if only to admire the white landscape.
