Walks around Mikro Chorio

Mikro Chorio is situated on a green slope filled with fir trees, on the road from Karpenisi to the Monastery of Prousou. It is divided into two villages, Palio and Neo, which are a distance of approximately 1.5 kilometers from one another. Palio was destroyed by a landslide in 1963, and its residents settled in Neo, which is not so traditional, but had evolved into one of the most advanced tourist centres of Evrytania.

The area around the two villages is idyllic and is suitable for walking in nature, where one can encounter picturesque small churches, modern monuments and a beautiful lake with blue waters.
