Diros Caves

The caves Vlichada and Alepotripa at Diros in Mani are undoubtedly two of the most impressive caves of the country. In Vlichada the tour takes place by a boat and provides unique experiences since the stalagmites and the stalactites emerge from the dark waters of the underground lake.

Alepotripa is one of the most impressive caves of Greece, given the fact that they found in it traces of people from the Neolithic period, who were trapped here after a powerful earthquake, which blocked the entrance. Outside the entrance of the cave there is a rather interesting Museum of Neolithic Culture, with important findings.
