At the village of Lavda, near Vasilitsa and Valia Kalda, is situated, since 2011, an original museum dedicated to mushrooms, the most famous of the products of Grevena. Here the visitor will learn about all the types of wild mushrooms, which are presented in their natural environment, at showcases, fresh or dried. He will draw information from the rich printed and audiovisual material that accompanies the museum’s exhibition, and will learn about the conditions that favor the development of so many types of mushrooms in this area.
