Apostle Paul after Athens chose to visit Corinth, where he stayed for a year and a half preaching the word of God. Then, Corinth was the most important commercial centre of Greece. Nowadays, the area receives a large number of travellers from every corner of the world who wish to visit the Archaeological Site of Corinth and to see the place where Apostle Paul preached. Hundreds of pilgrims visit each year the monasteries of Osios Patapios and Panagia Faneromeni in Chiliomodi.
