The Pontikonisi is one of the most photographed sites of Corfu. It took its name (mouse island) due to its tiny size.
It is a green island in the middle of the sea, which offers an enchanting view to visitors.
On the island there is a Byzantine monastery, the Transfiguration of Christ, which is the only building on the island. It celebrates on August 6th.
