A testimony of the Mycenaean period and the strong relation of the Mycenaeans with the land of Argolis is the ancient Tiryns, which is satiated on the road that connects Nafplio with Argos. It is built on a hill with two tops and its walls, that are called “Cyclopean”, still create awe to the visitor, since without question only Cyclopes could have built them.
The visitor, among other things, can admire the palace, the tunnels, the baths hall and others. The archaeological site of Tiryns, together with the one of Mycenae, is part of the UNESCO list of world heritage monuments.
