One of the most modern museum in Greece and one of the most important of the world, presents in a unique way the history of Athens through the findings from the Sacred Rock. The visitor can see works that are points of reference for world art, for example the Caryatids of the Erechtheion and the sculpted decoration of the Parthenon. He can also learn about the first temples on the Acropolis with the impressive sculpted decoration, to wander around the wondrous Archaic statues that the citizens offered to goddess Athena, but also to admire he findings of the excavation that took place for the erection of the museum and can be seen under its floor.
